Scheduling is one of the critical components of a mass transit system. Scheduling allows us to be efficient, creative, and ultimately provide a timely and accurate level of service.
Scheduling provides a detailed timetable, vehicles and drivers are scheduled, resources are generated and calculated, and overall all moving parts are taken into consideration for timely transport service.
Benefits of Scheduling
Efficient fleet management method
Improved passenger service quality
Cost saving
Responsive to changes in the external environment
More reliable transport system
How it Works
Our scheduling system works by generating an overall timetable in which the service would run. Vehicles are scheduled depending on their requirements (such as off-peak vs peak times). Drivers are then scheduled depending on the hours needed, with all calculations taken into regard, such as lunch breaks, working hours, total shift time, and so forth. All this is then generated into a timetable where all corners are covered, ultimately providing a seamless level of service, both for the operators of the transit system, and the passengers as well.
