BRT Red Line Project: CM Sindh to lay foundation stone in March 2022

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the foundation stone of Red Line Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) project will be laid this month. The Red Line will span over 26 km and is expected to have an average daily ridership of 625,000 passengers. Read more about this story here

Toyota gears up to launch first EV

Toyota Motors is all set to launch its first electric vehicle. The upcoming BZ4X all-electric model will use a battery by Panasonic that uses a special coolant to keep them away from risk of catching fire easily and lasts longer than the rival products. Check out the full story here.  

Panasonic will begin making Tesla EV batteries by March 2024

Panasonic has announced a new investment to start production of Tesla’s 4680 battery cell by the end of March 2024. It will begin mass production of the new lithium-ion battery which will help the carmaker lower production costs. The Japanese manufacturing company is the oldest battery partner. Ford has no plans to spin off EV businesses

Ford Motor has no plans to spin off its electric vehicle or gasoline-powered vehicle businesses. Chief Executive Jim Farley said the company plans to beat Nio and Tesla, not match them. Harley Davidson’s electric motorcycle brand LiveWire plans to sell 100,000 by 2026

LiveWire, Harley Davidson’s electric motorcycle brand, is aiming to sell 100,000 units by 2026 and reach the revenue of $1.77 billion. The growth is expected to reach 190,000 sales by 2030 and generate revenue of $3 billion. You can read the complete story here.
